For the last 17 years, Chris Carney, a former construction worker, has been protecting the rights of the injured and working to ensure they are justly compensated. His practice focuses on personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice and insurance law. 

A Cleveland native, Mr. Carney earned his B.A. in 1990 from the University of Dayton , and his juris doctor degree, cum laude, from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 1993, where he was Chairman of the Moot Court Board of Governors. He is admitted to practice in all Ohio courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.  Mr. Carney has successfully argued in the Ohio Supreme Court in Mid-American Fire Insurance Company v. William Heasley.

Mr. Carney has been actively involved in many legal associations, including a term on the Board of Directors of the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, and a term on the Executive Council of the Cleveland Bar Association's Young Lawyers' Section. His association memberships include the Cuyahoga County , Cleveland , Ashtabula, Ohio State and American Bar Associations, the American Association for Justice, the Ohio Association for Justice, and the Cleveland Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Carney has also been very active in the community, acting as a youth football coach for over a decade, as a member of the parish council at his church, and as president of his local booster club association.
